•    In 1967 a married couple, Doris and Ted Isaacson, founded SERVPRO as a painting business in Sacramento, California
•    The Isaacsons had a cleaning and restoration background and transformed the company into a franchisor of cleanup and restoration specialists
•    They sold their first SERVPRO franchise in 1969
•    In 1979 SERVPRO acquired the Bristol-Myers Domesticare Division and its 175 franchises
•    Eleven years later (1988) SERVPRO relocated to Gallatin, Tennessee to be within 600 miles of 50% of the U.S. population. By that time SERVPRO had 647 franchises.
•    In 2000 SERVPRO sold its 1,000th franchise
•    To meet growing needs SERVPRO moved to a 140,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Gallatin in 2005
•    Entrepreneur Magazine ranked SERVPRO the #4 franchise opportunity overall
and the #1 franchise opportunity in the restoration services category in 2016
•   SERVPRO list of awards is long. CNN Money, Dunn Bradstreet, and Entrepreneur Magazine are among the organizations that have recognized the success, growth, and accomplishments of SERVPRO.  
•    By 2016 SERVPRO had 1,800+ franchises across the nation
